Where Does the Money Go?

We all know public education funding has many shortfalls, and each year GCISD pays out about $50 million to Robin Hood.  While our district provides so much more for our students than most, there are plenty of areas where it simply cannot provide the funding we need. The goal of all of our GES PTA fundraising efforts is to support GES students, teachers and staff in ways that the budget cannot.  As the result of your generous giving, we are able to provide so many wonderful opportunities for your Stars!
