GES families, please help us reach our fundraising goal by supporting our 2023 Fun Run. We have teamed up with Get Movin’© to make this event fun and profitable with online mobile-friendly technology! Students will work towards their fitness goal while soliciting donations from friends and family. Donations are meant to encourage and support students as they work toward their fitness goals (donations are one-time gifts and not pledges based on how much students run).

Our goal is to raise $35,000. We hope to allocate $19,000 to the GES activity fund (for professional development, literacy library books, and to start saving for new foyer branding and wall mats for the gym), $7,000 for staff appreciation, $7,000 for PTA programs, and $2,000 for senior scholarships.

Fun Run Dates:

• February 24 – March 10: Register, accept donations, and complete the fitness goal form

• March 10: Donations due (Please send cash and check donations along with the provided form

  to teachers. Checks can be made payable to GES PTA.)

• March 10: Fun Run during each grade’s specials time. Families are invited to attend and

  participate in a family walking lap. (PK: 9:50 AM, K: 12:15 PM, 1st: 1:10 PM, 2nd: 2:05 PM, 3rd: 7:55 AM, 4th: 8:55 AM, and 5th: 10:45 AM)
