Chasing the Magic FUNd Run

We are so excited to be kicking off our Chasing the Magic FUNd Run!  We have listed out the four steps we need your help with to help us reach our goal of raising $30,000 to benefit the GES Activities Fund, PE, PTA, and the New Playground Fund.

Grapevine Elementary PTA has teamed up with Get Movin’ for our Chasing the Magic FUNd Run! FundHub powered by Get Movin’ gives us an online partnership to expand beyond our own community and reach the world for donation support through online Student Webpages. This allows us to accept credit/debit card donations from all over the world, in addition to cash & checks.

Here are the four steps:

FIRST 

Register or re-Login to your parent dashboard and complete your child’s student webpage with a picture. (our school identifier is 5f21c90c385d7) 

SECOND

Share with friends and family and ask for donations. They want to help. Using the share tools on your parent dashboard simply send 10-15 emails and or text messages, then share on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. This will help your child reach their goal. 

THIRD 

Students will earn prizes as they fundraise:

$25 – wristband and be entered to win a $100 Amazon gift card!
$50 – wristband
$100 – slap bracelet
$200 – medal 

We also have some amazing prizes for our top fundraisers! The top fundraiser will win a Family Membership to the Grapevine Recreation Center.  The second highest fundraiser will get a Family Night at Main Event.  The third top fundraiser will get a free month at Monaghan’s Taekwondo.

Top Class Earner wins an Ice Cream Party AND gets to *slime* the principals!
Top Grade Earner wins a Pajama Day.

Meet half way goal ($15,000) - 10 Minute School Wide Dance Party AND Coach Basil and Coach Moody get turned into ice cream sundaes! Top Class at that time get to apply the ice cream sundae ingredients.

Meet $30,000 goal and Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Shelley get SLIMED!

FOURTH

On Saturday, October 24th run with your family, have fun, and celebrate!  You can dress up in your favorite magical wear to run.  We will have a suggested 5K route to follow but you can also do your own one mile fun run. We will also have a finish line at Glade Landing Park. You can stop by, celebrate, and snap pictures.
