School isn't JUST about reading, writing, and arithmetic.  To encourage a well rounded student, we must encourage them in the arts, as well.  Anyone who is interested in this pursuit should consider becoming an Art Gallery Guide.  An Art Gallery Guide is NOTsomeone with a degree or background in art, a teacher, or someone incredibly creative.  An Art Gallery Guide IS someone who wants to be involved in your children's education, someone who enjoys spending time in the classroom, and someone who has limited time to volunteer.

The curriculum is provided for you, and the scheduling is flexible.  At least one adult from each class is asked to present four different art lessons throughout the school year, scheduling with the teacher to select a good time.  Many classes have more than one adult who can share ideas and work together to present the four lessons.
